The Place Restaurant.

Hey there! Thank you so much for stopping by and Welcome to this post!

A few weeks ago I got to visit Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club. For those who aren’t quite familiar with this place, allow me to give a small breakdown. There exist hotels, restaurants, clubs and even kibandas among other ‘joints’ or ‘places to eat/chill’. There is another category however, that we have never talked about. That is country clubs. These are complexes often sitting on a large piece of land that encompass a restaurant, club and hotel with amenities such as swimming pool, gym, spa, sauna, golf course, tennis court, fine dining restaurant, casual dining etc. They are often open to a select few strictly by membership hence are private.

EATING SMART AT AN EXPENSIVE JOINT.

Hey there! Welcome to this post and Thank you so much for stopping by!

It has been so hard to write this year. I thought I would love this whole reviewing thing year in-year out and was prepared for all the ups and downs. Turns out, there are some pretty low lows I didn’t anticipate. “Difficulty-in-writing” being one of them. In fact, that difficulty is more of me lacking confidence in my creativity/work and feeling like it may be a bit useless. For that reason, its been exactly 3 months since I posted a review. Being busy with school, life and all that has been me just avoiding the real issue.

killer ambience & POCKET-FRIENDLY prices.

Today’s post is about a semi-new restaurant in Marsabit Plaza along Ngong Road. The building is opposite Ligi Ndogo Grounds and is right next to Joe’s Atlanta Wingsrestaurant that I recently reviewed. Speaking of Joe’s Atlanta Wings, who has tried their food  out?    Continue reading “Mugz & Brewz Restaurant – Ngong Road.”

TWO COURSE MEAL PLUS DRINK @ 1,100/=

Hello there! Welcome to this post and thank you so much for stopping by!

My friend John, recently asked me to review an affordable restaurant and I thought wow, how much more affordable can we get after: Joes Atlanta Wings, Wingerie Kenya &Remax Village? Nonetheless, I was up for the challenge. I racked my brain thinking of affordable places that aren’t popular fast food spots or ‘kibandas’ yet offer great ambience. Considering, I am at The University of Nairobi, I thought the CBD would be the perfect place to begin my search. Just in case you’re new to this website, feel free to look at my ABOUT page to know a little about me.

HIDDEN INDIAN SPOT.

Hey there! Thank you so much for stopping by and Welcome to this post.

Royal Spice Kitchen is a restaurant at the Nextgen Mall Food Court. For those not familiar, Nextgen Mall is near Ole Sereni Hotel and EKA Hotel on Mombasa Road. This mall gives me mixed feelings. I am proud we have a large mall on Mombasa Road. However, the quality of tenants and finishing in some areas is simply not up to par. I mean, five clubs in one mall is just too much. That’s almost the number of restaurants they have. The supermarket at this mall is the Souk and is pretty nice. I like it. In fact, they have recently opened a bakery section that I am yet to try.
